Customers praised this stoneware set as "beautiful" and "high-quality" with thick, durable construction. Many loved the colors and speckled design. However, several noted the bowls are "very small" and not suitable for cereal. Some reported misleading product photos regarding color accuracy and bowl size. A few received incomplete sets or damaged pieces due to poor packaging.
- This dish set is absolutely incredible. The quality is wonderful.
- High-quality plates. Very thick and they're even great to have with children.
- Beautifully crafted. I'm obsessed!
Very cute! A little heavy, but good quality.
I was happy to find a set of gray dishes. This set is unusual in that it contains both mugs and 8-oz bowls, as well as the larger bowl and the two different plate sizes. They're antique, but the speckles in the dishes are black and the trim around the rims is an antique brown. I would've rather have had black edges with the gray. They go from microwave to table and are dishwasher safe. With the mugs and the smaller bowls, the set comes out to 20 pieces, a much better value than the usual 12-pc sets for four. I'd buy them again. Gray is a hard color to find!
The set is beautiful and style-wise everything I was looking for. The quality seems great as well but cant confirm that until after some use. The plates are all decent sizes. The mugs are a little on the small side but decent as well. The bowls though- omg- all 3 different bowls are SO tiny that none of them will function as a soup/cereal bowl. The one with the flat rim seems most functional but it seems more appropriate for formal sit-down use. The shallow bowl is about the size of a small pet dish and the deeper bowls will fit a small serving of ice cream. Very disappointed because the pictures are very misleading about bowl size.Only one bowl was damaged and the seller was very responsive and helpful.

This is $90 USD on Amazon USA weird it is so much more expensive for Canada ($170 CAD). The quality is very good, the sets well made and based on the weight and thickness, it is genuine ceramic stoneware. The mugs and plates are great. The cereal bowls and pasta bowls have very small capacity. The pasta bowl is passable but I find the bowls to be laughably small capacity...they're more like cups.Overall I think they're well made but don't like how Canada Amazon pricing is wildly more expensive and the capacity of the pasta plates and bowls can be a lot better.

Wow it’s not hard to tell this brand who makes this type of dinnerware set sure knows what they are doing because from what I see and feel for the quality part they so deserve a good rating for many different reasons as for one they have that vintage fancy luxurious look to everything. One thing know I can say this is one of my new favourite brands as I’m sure anyone who gets them will be so pleased on what they see indeed.

I bought 2 of the 20 piece set unfortunately off amazon so I paid more - I love them - they are beautiful.
Hi Christel! Thank you so much for loving our French Countryside collection and for sharing your 5-star rating with us!
We are so sorry for the price markup on Amazon. Due to Amazon’s high seller fees and commissions, the retail price on Amazon is higher than on our official website.
We’d love to have you shop directly on our website for any future orders to get the best pricing! Thanks again for being such a wonderful customer!
Love! Beautiful! I have one dinner plate with 2 tiny white spots where glaze didn't cover. But, I do love color and weight.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you love the color and weight of your new dinnerware set.
We also noticed you mentioned a tiny glaze imperfection on one of the plates. We want your set to be absolutely perfect, so if those spots bother you at all, please feel free to send a quick photo to info@homevss.com. We would be more than happy to send you a free replacement plate right away.
Thank you again for choosing us!
Very small!! The listing is somewhat deceiving. The "cereal bowls" are literally smaller than the coffee cups! The finish looks like the pictures but up close it looks sort of cheap IMO. Returning these dishes as they are not what I expected. They Did come packaged well, thank goodness! Because the box and all the smaller boxes inside were literally beat up and every one was torn open from terrible shipping conditions!
Great for the holidays
Definitely not a complete 20 piece set as advertised, received my order today with zero bowls, four dinner plates, four salad plates, and six coffee cups. That does not equal a 20 piece set.
I love this set! The bowls are on the smaller side. The color is very nice. Definitely getting a second set.
I loved this dish set ...But when it arrived several pieces were broken due to the poor quality packaging, just paper in between each piece, very very disappointed....The only star I give is that the set is in my opinion beautiful...
I love these sets!
This is my Mothers Day Table setting!!
The speckles are cute but for it to match my bright kitchen I needed warm light candy pink, not cooler toned mauve-pink, so I returned
Quality is great and the color is perfect!! Exactly what I was looking for!!
Beautifully crafted. I'm obsessed!
