Our dinnerware set arrived today. The stoneware is an excellent weight. The color is what I expected. This is a very good quality set of dishes at a very affordable price. I bought a set of four to see if the dinnerware would be a welcome addition to our home. Well it turned out to be so much so that I'm ordering another service for 4.
These dishes are absolutely beautiful. My kids gave them to me for mother's day having let me pick them out myself. In fact, I think they are gorgeous. However, I cannot give them a good rating. I unpacked them and after inspection, washed them. I stacked them in my cupboard and have not used them yet. I took a few plates out a couple days ago because I noticed something on the edge of one of them. On further inspection, this particular plate has a scratch on the surface where you would eat from. Because of this, I inspected them all and found the beautiful finish on most of them have been scratched just by stacking them together. I contacted the seller through Amazon thinking this had to be a fluke because this was not mentioned in any of the reviews, at least that I could find. The seller requested pictures so I complied. They responded and said that "this could only happen from a hard object" and that they could replace the "plate" or I can send them back for a refund. Basically, they are telling me if I use eating utensils on these that they will to scratch the finish on this stoneware? (flatware is considered a "hard object" in my mind.) Ridiculous! Having inspected these carefully upon arrival, I no longer have the packaging. Therefore, I am required to come up with packaging to send them safely back. Thankfully, it will be their cost for me to return as they sent me a no charge label. I will be replacing my mother's day gift locally so that I do not have to go through this again. I cannot recommend these dishes if they scratch this easily.

Loved the shades! Everything shipped intact except one plate and the seller sent me a replacement right away which I really appreciated. They’re sturdy but not at all heavy. Bowls and mugs are on the smaller side but do just fine. Would definitely buy again.

Gave to my son as a gift for his new apartment. He’s very picky about what he wants. He loved everything about this set. He loved the color, the sturdiness and how they looked expensive. He’s happy…I’m happy!

The sage green is perfect; it complements all holiday decors. I love the feel of the bowls and they work for soup or cereal. The plates don't have corners and the bowls don't flair out so no chipping in the dishwasher

I like this dish set because of the simplicity and design. Size and shape of each piece suits us. The sheen and weight are good.
